BHWX Technologies provides technology consulting, build and managed services to businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website and in the course of client work, why we hold it, and the choices available to you.
- 01
Who we are
BHWX Technologies ("BHWX", "we", "us") is the controller of personal data collected through this website. Where we process data on behalf of a client — for example while operating or maintaining systems we have built — we act as a processor under that client's instructions and the terms of our services agreement.
- 02
Data we collect
Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, company name, the area of interest you select, and the content of any message you send us through our contact form or by email.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and approximate location, gathered through server logs and analytics where enabled.
Client engagement data: business contact details, system inventories, configuration information and any material you share with us during discovery, build or support work.
- 03
Why we use it
To respond to enquiries and arrange stack reviews; to deliver, support and improve the services we have agreed to provide; to maintain the security and integrity of our systems; to keep records required for accounting, contractual and legal purposes; and, where you have opted in, to send occasional updates about our services.
We rely on the performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and marketing a business-to-business service, your consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations as our lawful bases for processing.
- 04
Sharing and processors
We share personal data with service providers who support our operations — hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer relationship management and payment processing — under contracts that limit their use of the data to the services they provide to us.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data where required by law, to establish or defend legal claims, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case you will be notified.
- 05
International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms, including standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate technical safeguards.
- 06
Retention
Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Client engagement records are retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by contract, tax and limitation rules. Data no longer required is deleted or anonymised.
- 07
Security
We apply role-based access control, encryption in transit and at rest, logging, and regular review of accounts and permissions. No system can be guaranteed completely secure; we maintain incident response procedures and will notify affected parties and regulators where the law requires.
- 08
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to receive a portable copy, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis of processing. Where we process data on behalf of a client, we will refer your request to that client.
To exercise a right, email support@bhwxtech.com. We will verify your request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
